…continued throughout the day! This is what I saw at 6:05 AM (CST), when I took a peek out at the Christmas Tree Lot next door!
Today was the last day of official Autumn here in Chicago, and it leaves us shivering and damp. The winds right now are out of the northwest, howling at 24mph, with sharp gusts to 47mph, but it stopped raining and it’s not snowing…yet! Needless to say, I don’t think I’ll go out to photograph Christmas lights tonight!
Tomorrow is the very first day of official Winter…it arrives here at 5:12 AM (CST), and hopefully (?) we’ll have some SNOW! Then, as promised, I’ll probably go out on the front lawn of my building and make a few ‘snow angels’!

I just posted photos that were taken in the rain as well. How appropriate.
I’ll go take a look before bed! Too bad YOUR rain won’t be turning to snow, though :>( !!!
That never happens, which is disappointing.
Well…sometimes, you never know! ;>) !!!
I think in this case we do, I don’t think it has ever snowed here, is it snowing there?
Nothing…a total hype by the weatherman! [?]
That is a shame.
Well, he keeps trying to get customers…the charge is $10 per foot, and money is scarce, especially in this neighborhood which consists mostly of immigrants…there are said to be at least 82 different languages spoken in this less than 2.5 square mile neighborhood!
Wow… I liked this click. It’s beautiful
Oh, thanks so, Googsy! It felt good to do something a bit different! [?]
