Well…even in our hottest summers, when the temps are 100 degrees F and more, this lake never gets above 80 degrees (that I know of), because it is large and deep…and can be very destructive to ships/boats during storms. And yes, it was cold and very damp–not the ‘deep-freeze’ type of cold, but the type that chills you to the marrow! The gray days are getting boring, so I’m always very pleased when the sun comes out…even the trees seem to refresh themselves in the winter sun!
It looks like it is very cold there. Funny how water always seems to portray coolness, with the stripped trees making it even colder.
