…SNOW!
I had just left an appointment and decided to walk home, as the weather had warmed a bit, and the wind had calmed. It began like this:

I don’t know the reason for the purple ribbon, or why similar ribbon was tied around nearby trees, but the light snow looked lovely against the color!
A mere half-block later, the coverage was already a bit heavier, as this ComEd alleyway grate shows:
After another half-block, I arrived at the Community Garden many of you may remember from past posts.
When I was a street away, after taking a few more shots, I stopped at the stone lion which sits in front of the building on the next corner.

He looked as if he was smiling and getting ready to stick out his tongue and catch some snowflakes, doesn’t he?
Further on, this tree trunk had a very Romantic look about it…
…while the tree trunk in front of the parking lot next door looked quite creepy…
with all its sinuous, above-ground roots!

ooohhh, I love the title, and I love being about to see it falling, it is wonderful.
It was so soft and fluttery, just like powdered sugar coming through a sieve over some delightful doughnuts!
