Summer officially arrives here in Chicago at 6:09 PM, though it feels as if it’s been here for quite awhile already!

  1. I LOVE Geraniums 🙂 I think I have about 50 different varieties. They grow well here and take so easily from cuttings 🙂 Our seasons here start officially on the first days of June, September, December and March but, of course, the weather doesn’t always heed the ‘official’ times 🙂

    • It’s a sidewalk about 200 feet from Lake Michigan. A huge, very old mulberry tree is about 6 feet from the sidewalk, and the mulberries are ‘disturbed’ by the birds, or just fall off when ripe.

Sorry if I’m a bit late with this, but It’s been a ‘new doctor” day, with new prescriptions, so I’m really tired out. This was our third 95 degree day…too, too hot, even along the normally cooler lakeside.
