  1. I remember my Nan who used to break open the Apricot kernels and use one or two in her jam. Not sure why, I just remember her at the back of the house, in her apron, breaking them open. I saved lots of Nectarine pits/stonesa few years back and planted them they are almost as tallas me now and starting to blossom 🙂

    • I remember reading an old recipe which advised just that, but don’t know why. I do know that the kernels contain a small amount of cyanide. Glad your ‘plantings’ of the pits are doing well, Lancer!
