More of Christmas morning snow

The lovely snow kind of fizzled out after about an hour to an hour and a half, yet it was so very pretty while it lasted.

The snow was of the granular kind and began melting somewhat today as the temperature hovered just above the freezing point…which reminds me:  I know many consider little guys like this a pest (they are rodents, after all)…

…but if you feed them, they might not be ‘dumpster-diving’ for cheesy popcorn!

  1. There are different kinds of snow? How amazing. It looks so wonderful. I always think of places with snow as belonging to some kind of wonderland. Just beautiful.

    • Oh, yes, Leanne, many different types, and, supposedly, one snowflake is never quite the same as the next…entire scientific studies have been done on this, some of them decades ago. One fellow even photographed snowflakes before they melted to prove the fact!
