    • Ah, but we still are experiencing the very cold Canadian wind off the very cold Lake Michigan, smacked. Though the temp today was 60 degrees F., I walked into the wind for about five blocks, and…It. Was. Chilling!

    • Non, Mlle B., but I do remember walking around an awful lot with a yellow upper lip, as my older brothers used to tease me by making me ‘smell’ the dandelions, then rubbed them under my nose…and I fell for that trick a number of times!

      On the lighter side, my grandfather would pick them (days long before all the pesticides were used on lawns and fields) and make very delicious “Dandelion Wine”!
