After last evening’s glorious sunset…

...the temperature, which had been around 88 degrees F., had suddenly dropped over thirty degrees!

This morning, it was 55 degrees F. at hal past 5:00 AM, when I awoke to rain, fog, and a chilling north wind!

Breakfast time, and what better way to ward off the chill than a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal, with fresh blueberries and a good-sized dollop of Greek yogurt!

I hope your weather is greater than this, a typical June day here in Chicago!

  1. Like? No. Love. Love. Love. My. Goodness. I think this sunset shot is my favorite. It’d look fantastic on a wall. All three images work well as a series. (The orange light in the first two and the raindrops and blue berries in the bottom two.) Time marches on! B. (I’m now craving blur berries and yogurt!)

    • Oh, they were so delicious, Mlle B.! So sweet, I did not have to add honey!

The sunrises and sunsets have been so exceptional this Spring in Chicago, I can barely stop standing at the window! I wonder what Summer will bring…it begins, officially, about six and a half hours from now!

    • Thanks so, Googsy…we’ve been having some unusually rainy weather, with fast, powerful storms–and lots of different clouds. Normally, June here in Chicago is pretty clear with not so many rainy days in a row!
