I love to shoot these old pilings of a former pier at what is now known as Leone Beach.
Tonight, I’ve added a bit of ‘grunge’, some ‘noise’ and removed about half the color to give you a much more dynamic view of this wondrous place.

*Back 9 decades ago, there were ferry boats from downtown Chicago which would make their way up the lake shore, making stops at piers like this one. It was a means for people to relieve themselves of the pollution of ‘life in the city’ in those days.
